An Unusual Car Driving Game

driving101.jpg
This is an unusual car driving game without opponent cars, but you have obstacles. If you drive over a bomb your car will be damaged at least by 10%. Your car will be damaged at least by 5% if you get off the road. The tools will bring you at most 3% of recovery.

Damaging and recovering depend on a skill, but the points depend on a current gear. For a bag you will get a few points (the higher the current gear the higher the points). But killing the rabbit will lose your few points (the higher the current gear, the lesser losing points) and you´ll get at least 3% of damage. You can adjust options to be suitable for the kids.

Penumbra – The Game

Penumbra is a horror adventure game featuring state of the art graphics and makes heavy use of physics. Penumbra was created as a technology development project, with the aim to explore new uses of physics in games.

Make no mistake, Penumbra may be free but that fact has not limited its development and the game includes all sorts of eye candy that you would demand from a contemporary retail title. It is not just about the tech however and the game's developers have spent a long time making the storyline intriguing and incorporating the in-game physics in such way that the result is a very cohesive and immersive title.

Penumbra is a must-have download for all gamers and proves that a small team of students working for the fun-of-it-all can create an engaging product and a pretty decent engine too.

If you are concerned about the large filesize of the download you can always view a few Penumbra Movies.

Minimum requirements:
CPU 1Ghz, RAM 512MB, Radeon 9600/Geforce FX

Installation instructions:
Download the zip file to your computer and unzip using a program such as WinZip. To play the game launch Penumbra.exe. If you want to learn more about how to play the game, controls and configuration options open the Manual_eng.htm document.
